PVP Plot
Guide to making a working PVP Plot with
If you want a public pvp/pve plot, there are a lot of flags that need to be changed to your plot.
This is designed so that anyone who isn't a member can fully interact with your plot but they won't be able to build or break. If you want block updates or any interactive elements, I recommend puttingg it in plots75
Flags
Flags are a core part of what can happen in your plot; some involve what permissions a player has, and others what blocks/entities can do to your plot. You can take a look at the plot squared documentation for more flags and category definition.
/plot flag set pvp true
This will allow players to hit each other.
/plot flag set pve true
This will allow entites to hurt the player.
/plot flag set guest-gamemode survival
This will mean any guests will be forced into survival when they enter your plot.
/plot flag set gamemode creative
When set to creative, you and any trusted player will be set to creative and be able to play. Set this to survival when you want to play
/plot flag set use *
This allows players to interact with beds, chests, anvils and many other items (the * means everything; if you want specific ones, you'll have to list them all any time you want to edit it).
/plot flag set explosion true
This flag will allow the use of projectiles, this includes tnt and wind charges (tnt won't break blocks if projectile-change-block is false).
/plot flag set projectile-change-block false
This prevents tnt from breaking blockss (wind charges will still affect blocks e.g. trapdoors).
/plot flag set projectiles true
Allows the use of projectiles e.g. windchargers, bows and enderpearls.
/plot flag set vehicle-use true
Allows players to use boats and horses
/plot set home
Sets where people will start when they tp to your plot.
/plot alias set
Will allow people to tp to it via /plot visit <alias>
Recommended Setup
It is recommended that you have some chests at the edge of your plot so players can be in creative mode and copy the items (pickblock keybind) and get geared up before entering the plot and set into survival. Having an anvil there will also allow players to enchant their gear if you want that.
